Message from the President...

Howdy y’all,

As we are gearing up for the new show year, we hope everyone is staying healthy and safe.

I would like to take a moment to thank our scholarship committee for working very hard to ensure we were able to award scholarships even with only having a modified fair. We awarded $47,000 to 13 scholarship recipients, which includes the memorial scholarships that are given through the fair. The committee is already working on fundraising ideas to help increase this amount for next year.

Our livestock committee has been hard at work getting all the livestock rules updated, scheduling tagins and are ready to start taking poultry orders for the upcoming show year.

Our next event coming up is the 9th Annual WinterFest, December 3rd & 4th. Come out and join us for some good ole’ family fun. Here are a few of the events we will have. Christmas Tree Lighting, movie under the stars and don’t forget to take advantage of a little Christmas Shopping and get a bite to eat at one of the food trucks. You can also show off your baking skills by entering our pie & cookie contest and kids of all ages can enter our Gingerbread contest.

As the pandemic continues, we will be following the suggestions from the CDC on all COVID-19 protocols for events on our fairgrounds. We want to make all our events successful and safe for everyone.
